Hangmás

Gosh, it was a long time – again, sometimes I feel like a hampered record-player, well... a hampered iPod maybe, just to be there in time. Again, again and again. The girl who wrote that she was back again with her every single post, and finally not, yeah, this would be a perfect sign on my T-shirt on the first party of the community of this blog. Man, can you imagine what would be happen, if I were the screenwriter of the Terminator movies? Arnold’d be back... really, and next time again... and next time again...

Meanwhile, the beautiful, warm Spring arrived to Hungary, we got 15 degrees, bird twitters, butterflies, dog crappy in parks and girls, wearing short skirts on the streets. So the Spring came and were gone again for this weekend and what do people do in sunny but cold weekend days? Wearing trousers instead of skirts? Yes. Looking back for the best bands of 2007 for their music posts? No, just me. (I’m not sure at present about this, I asked two people and they said no, is it now representative?)

We have a free music, movies, party and programme magazine all over the country, in Budapest it is called PestiEst and journalists, performers and its music crew makes a best of list of the past year in every year, now this list is about 2007, and I found something interesting on it.
This thing I took notice of is a band, ok I know it’s not a surprise because this is Musicholism and this is my task, but that band called Hangmás... I have never ever heard about it! This is more my failure of my perfection of this kind of music than their fault. Nevertheless I don’t really like eletronic base in this doses, but hey – I told myself – „indie and garage” they say about themselves, I couldn’t be wrong. And I was wrong, I mean I will not be the biggest fan of them, and I will not be a front-line amazon, except the next song I wanna share with you.

This is a real classic, and I think I can’t show you my fav version (Jessica Simpson of course!), you will like it. At least I hope so. Oh, and their album, Funeral Party Budapest certainly shows much more of them, but I couldn’t miss this out.

For more information click on the myspace: http://www.myspace.com/hangmas . Their website will come soon, so do I. I’ll be back. But now, I have to have a conversation with the Governor of California, we have... uummm... a metal business together:).
