Recently the 100 HUF coin is the largest among the coins of Hungarian forint. (Very soon they will introduce the 200 HUF coin)

The coin was designed by István Kósa. Its size is 23.8 mm, by weight: 8 g. A bicolor coin.

Obverse: legend „MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG”, arms, year of minting
Reverse: „100” indication of value, decorative line, „FORINT”, „BP” mint mark
Edge-ring: milled
